The Future is Today Conference

The pioneering conference was focused on the latest technological innovations, as well as how the new trends will affect the immediate future of businesses in Cyprus.

The Minister of Transport, Communication and Works, Mrs Vassiliki Anastassiadou, delivered the opening address, followed by more than 20 experts and distinguished speakers from the international arena and from Cyprus who discussed the impact of the 4th Technological Revolution, how to deal with upcoming challenges and how to take advantage of new opportunities that will occur in the constantly evolving and changing environment. During the Conference, experts explained how the concept of Blockchain affects a business, and what technology to use in order to enter the 'Cloud' sphere that will open new horizons to an organization.
Discussion also focused on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) will assist a company to promote and take off their products and services in today's digital world.

The panel of experts was followed by a lively debate with the audience that wanted to know how digital transformation will influence Cyprus and how the offices will look like in 2018-2020 when it's sure that with the mobile intranet software, it is no longer necessary for employees to be glued to their desks to get work done.
