Anthoula Madden

Dr. Anthoula Madden is the Chief Digital Officer of Pladis Global, the owner of iconic brands such as Godiva, McVities, and Ulker, turnover of over $5.5Bn. She joined Pladis in June 2017, and is responsible for the digital transformation of the business, including a new, consumer-centric operating model enabled by digital and advanced analytics and insights capabilities, to ensure Pladis maintains its rapid pace of growth to compete effectively in the digital world.

Prior to joining Pladis Anthoula had a successful career in Management Consulting, including 10 years at PwC Consulting UK, where she led several global business transformation programmes rising to Director and then Partner. After PwC she joined Deloitte Consulting as a Partner, leading the Consumer sector for 6 years, driving transformational change for global clients. Anthoula holds a Ph.D. in Medical Physics (University of London), an M.Sc. in Medical Physics (Distinction - University of Surrey) and a B.Sc. in Physics and Astrophysics (University of Birmingham).
